A world without Blogs

I have never understood blogging.  Seriously, what is the point…i dont know you why would I want to read what is going on in your life.  I even have a myspace page and have yet to blog there.  I dont know why people would want to read about my ramblings that i didnt feel was important enough to call them on the phone and discuss with them or tell them at work ect….  Untill it dawned on me…..and did it ever.  I have a co-worker who is possibly (certainly) getting a new position within our company, however it involves her going across the street to our new “luxory” corporate building (jealous is me) which means i wont be able to scream across cubicles at her anymore.  No instead we have decided that I am going to have to buy a pair of ice skates so that i can skate across both of our parking lots and the street the second I am in dire need of a quick chit-chat (MN winters are brutal and I wouldn’t want to run across in heels :O).  Granted that would be a much needed mid-day workout, it is not something that would fit in timely with my work schedule.  

So back to how blogs being a good thing dawned on me….what better way for me to keep up with her and her busy hubby loving, child caring, stoping cat from attacking xmas tree life!!!  And of course what better way for her to find out what kid has what sickness or which ex is telling who about what in my life…and of course the rest of her new department wouldn’t have to hear my loud voice…cuz we know that I am definately the loudest person over here!

 So here it is, my very first blog.  I am sure that there will be many others to come as I love story telling especially when it involves me So now you just have to ask yourself, was my first time as good for you as it was for me???
