Poor little man

The joys of motherhood come in so many forms.  Last night I think I got to bare witness to all of them!  First off…I don’t make nachos, or generally any kind of Mexican food…but I thought I would last night.  And to my surprise my daughter had 3 servings!!! And of course my son didn’t eat a thing L.So then, I thought I would make something special for the kids for dessert and after

searching my cookbooks for a recipe with ingredients that I had in stock I found cream puffs and made those and filled them with chocolatecream-puffs.jpg

pudding topped with banana slices and powdered sugar.  I took a picture and it will follow tomorrow….and if I liked chocolate and bananas I bet I would have loved these!  Needless to say my kids eyes popped when they saw them and again my daughter devoured the yummy display that I put in front of her.  My son, once again maybe dipped his finger in 4 times.  He has been kinda backed up and has not gone poopers since Saturday.  So I thought that that might be the reason that he is not eating…no where to digest it L  So I got to do the most enjoyable motherly task last night and give my son a “partial” enema. Why partial…because I did not literally stick anything in there but rather “teased” it.  And it worked…kind of a big one for a little boy which is why I would assume he needed assistance.  Well…assuming that my motherly tasks are over for the evening I go to sleep and shame on me for doing that.  I am woken at 2am to a gagging sound….and here my son is attempting to vomit in the middle of my room.  I then put on my super fast feet and get him to the bathroom where I place him over the toilet and he manages to “throw up” a little phleghm, if you call that throwing up.  After that he asks to sleep in my room…and how can I object.  He asks for his pillow so I go to retrieve it from his bed, but its not there.   Hmmmm…so I check his sisters room and there it is on the floor leaned up to her bed. Oh well…so I grab it and throw him and his pillow into my bed.  I try to get him to drink some water and he responds with “no mama, I just wanna sleep”.  How sad and cute at the same time.  So then he roles over and turns back to me and says “Mama…my pillow is ucky…its wet mama”  Sure enough the one side I didn’t touch is drenched in my 3 year olds vomit.  Poor kid.  So now I am left not really sleeping cuz I have to make sure that I catch that sound before my bed or myself is covered with “icky”.  And dude…sleeping next to someone with vomit break…EWE!  Fortunately now that my sister is watching my kids at my house I was able to let him sleep in.  I went in to my daughters room to check on her and what do I see….why blue and green vomit on her floor!   Well at least now I know where the incident took place…and why blue and green…well seeing that he didn’t eat anything after I got home yesterday I can only assume that the last thing he ate for my sister was a fruit roll up!   So off to work I go….yay for in home daycare!   Especially when she calls me to tell me that he has a fever of 103 and wont leave my bed L  He tells me and her thought that “I no sick I better now” and I think he only believes that cuz well yucks aren’t coming out of his mouth!  Don’t worry though…his father YES FATHER is taking him into the dr. as we speak.  Poor little man…..poor mama….needs a bloody mary!
