Happy 11th Birthday Amaya!

Amaya =myAmaya, princess, peanut, mymy, mayapapaya, mynie (her cousin used to call her this before he could say her name) maya!
Amaya is 11 and it completely blows my mind. How do I have such a beautiful, smart and talented young woman on my hands? She’s is such and amazing individual with unique tastes and I thank God everyday for that. I really believe that if she sticks with the piano that she could do some wonderful things in her life musically. Now it’s just up to mom to get her a piano!
So what did we do for her birthday today? Well, it’s a work and school day but I was able to go in to the office late to provide her with this:
- That’s right, getting her hopped up on sugar before school!
The rest of the day after school she will spend with her dad, grandma & grandpa. Then this weekend she will have friends over for a “High Tea” with all sorts of goodies provided by me of course and then they’ll change out of their fancy frillies and into their funky pj’s for a “Night at the Spa”. Time to utilize my brand new jacuzzi tub and give the girls pedicures, manicures and facials! The night will end with pizza and movies (and cleaning for me!) Tyson has offered to be our maitre d and towel boy for the evening. In the morning I’ll make them cinammon twists and fruit and anxiously await their parents arrival.
