If your like most of the population you have a million socks that do not have a partner. I generally will hold on to those for about a year…give up and throw them away. A lot of these lonely pairs are due to the fact that many of their better halves have gotten holes in them and I simply rip them and throw them away. However, my daughter has acquired a cute knee high collection of adorable socks that I sneak a pair once in a while (ok every weekend) and now one of [our] favorites has managed a small hole. What a sad world this sock lives in…but do not fear cute knee high multi colored diamond sock (i think thats the one) I will learn how to MEND you
EEK! —once the mending is finished i will post here how long it took and the final results. (and what i did if you’re interested).
Now…the rest of the socks that I throw out…well their all white…and boring and yes if i was a stay at home mom I would make puppets or somthing more creative out of them, but seeing that I am a super busy mom with a full time job—no time to play with puppets. So if any of you other moms have any other ideas (and while i would like to say YES dish rags…alas i have a ton and baby/toddler socks do not do provide much coverage)please let me know … and if i have any i will post here
